At The Horse Park at Walnut Creek we host horse day camps throughout the year as well as several week-long summer horse camps. These camps are geared for both beginner, intermediate, and advanced riders. Our camps are an excellent introduction into the world of horses and a great way to learn from others.
Beginner students learn basic horsemanship, safety and grooming, parts of the horse and tack. Our camps also include fun horse related arts & crafts, and of course lots of riding - including daily horse-back-riding instruction & games on horse-back.
Our intermediate students learn more advanced skills in horsemanship & many of the important lessons, skills and responsibilities, that are required to own a horse or pony. Your child will love the time spent outdoors around horses and other horsey people.
A camp for beginner riders - no experience necessary! Our beginner camp is an introduction into the world of horses and riding!
